SAKSHAM (Student Assessment for Knowledge, Skills & Holistic Competency-based Achievement Mapping) is an education initiative of Anugola district, Odisha. It empowers parents, schools, and education officials to assess the quality of student learning, identify areas for improvement, and take informed action to ensure every child receives a high-quality education.

In December 2025, the district conducted its first standardised assessment for all students in Classes 5 and 8 across government schools. Rather than testing rote memorisation, the assessment measured students' conceptual understanding and skills in core subjects: Odia, Mathematics, English, EVS/Science, and Social Science.
The assessment results were analysed to prepare report cards at the school, block, and district levels. These report cards provide an aggregated view of learning outcomes, helping identify strengths and areas for improvement across schools and administrative units. They reflect overall student performance and exclude individual score
